For my cell project last week I decided to do a plant cell rap. I ended up loving it and having a great time and decided to post it.

Hey, I'm a plant cell,
lemme tell you about me like show and tell.
First up, I got a cell wall, protecting the whole place
Then the cell membrane, acting like a gel-like case,
Oh yes the vacuole, it has organic and inorganic material
It's very important, just like breakfast cereal
Oh, we got our commander-in-chief, the Nucleus
He controls everything like the green on a leaf
Of course, the nucleolus, combining RNA with the proteins,
It's about as important as someone's daily memes,
The rough ER, performing its translation
All across the nation
The smooth ER, it doesn't have ribosomes on the surface,
For that's not its only purpose
Now let's talk about Ribosomes,
Making every bit of protein,
Showing all the energy like the actor James Dean,
The wiggly things called the goglgi bodies
It packages the proteins like a storage unit,
If you want the proteins you gotta go right through it
Chloroplast, converts energy into sugar,
And mitochondrion, they produce power,
Just like an energy tower,
Cytoplasm, keeping everything together,
Just like the old baseball stitches, made of leather.
